DJ REZA

His unique musical style and charismatic showmanship have distinguished Reza as a Musical Trendsetter and favored Party Rocker! DJ Reza is responsible for putting the “Grand” back in “Finale” annually at America’s largest Halloween Spooktacular “Monster Massive”. The DJ moniker would eventually find its way in front of Reza’s name, but not without the hard work, self-discipline and strong personal ethics for earning professional credibility.

Self-taught the art of mixing, it was no coincidence that “DJ Reza” devoted his time and efforts to what started out as a hobby to being a true enthusiast to dance music culture. Aside from his duties as founder of Go Ventures, one of Americas leading purveyor of dance music events attracting crowds of at least 20,000 per, respectively. From funky House, Tribal, to Electro, sometimes vocally charged but always sweet to the last beat. Nothings ever set or the same when he’s on the decks, the music is always freshly delivered.

Currently DJ REZA is busy touring, producing, shaping and defining the sound of Go Ventures new imprint record label: “Saturday Night Sessions”. BARRY WEAVER

Iconoclast -
1. An image breaker
2. One who assails traditional beliefs

With an extensive arsenal of music encompassing everything from Acid House to Zeppelin, Barry Weaver’s knowledge and tastes make for a style-trashing head-on clash of ideas. A firm foundation based in years of experience and an instinct for what lies ahead allow Barry to mine past and present alike; connecting, challenging and always pushing the envelope. With an amazing set of dancefloor-ready, genre-defying tunes, this LA and West Coast veteran will leave you surprised and awestruck. You’ll likely hear minimal techno, house, electro, disco and acid/house classics in one of his always original sets.

Barry currently pours his considerable experience and talent into promoting various weekly and one-off club events. Dos Tres, Electroluxe and Vice/Versa all sought to challenge people’s expectations of what a club night should look, sound and feel like. Tiga, Claude VonStroke, Radio Slave, Tommie Sunshine, Deadmau5 and Samim are a select few of the many DJs and producers he’s introduced to San Diego over the years.

Recently Barry’s been learning his way around the production studio. Working alone and with friends, he’s been busy opening new doors in his quest to find ways to express himself through music. His productions and remixes can be heard in his current sets.

Longevity is a rarity in the DJ world - so many come and go; others dig themselves into a niche or refuse to venture out and approach music differently. Over the years Barry has proven himself to be a diverse and adventurous force in dance music and he’s showing no signs of slowing down.

J-CUT

After discovering dance music through breakdancing in the early 90’s, J-Cut started contributing to the Los Angeles scene as a music buyer for hip hop record store Street Sounds and Groove Riders in 1993. Not content with just playing music J-Cut started producing in 1995 and has releases on Jungle Boogie Records and Saturday Night Sessions. Recently seen in the studio with DJ Reza, J-Cut’s plan is to keep moving and putting out music as long as he can to spread love through his music. House music is love!
