At the tail end of every year UK based DJ Mag holds its Top 100 DJs poll and the results were just released for this year’s competition on October 29, 2008. Armin Van Buuren once again takes the #1 spot, with Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk and Above & Beyond following close behind. David Guetta (#5), Above & Beyond (#4), Deadmau5 (#11) and Markus Schulz (#8) all made big moves this year, creeping up on the charts compared to last year.

DJ Reza and Thee-O performed a back to back set for over 3 hours on October 10, 2008. Located at a secret underground warehouse location in downtown Los Angeles, both DJs played track after track of dance floor jams to a packed crowd of over 1,500.

In a series of top house music club nights, Saturday Night Sessions and Avaland present a special event on Saturday December 20th, 2008. Legendary as a groundbreaking producer, remixer and DJ, Armand Van Helden is one of house music’s biggest personailities and his virtuoso musical talent is undeniable. Saturday Night Sessions founder DJ Reza will also perform in what looks to be one of the best Saturday Night Sessions events of the year.
